Saturday afternoon: a finished packed with creativity delivered the Seattle Kraken to home ice for a bond.

In a rare, up-close and personal moment with fans in attendance, an estimated $100,000 through tickets sold for the inaugural Seattle Kraken Super Skills Showcase at Climate Pledge Arena benefited the One Roof Foundation as the Kraken, split into two teams, furnished an 11-9 victory for captain Chris Driedger over goaltending counterpart Philipp Grubauer.

Kraken players and guest participants, including individuals from the Junior Kraken, competed through drills such as hardest shot, fastest skater, breakaway relay, a three-on-three scrimmage, and supplemental entertainment such as a taped stick race, puck juggling competition, and cameo by team dog, Davy Jones at the event's start.

In an exclusive podcast immediately at the event's finish, Kraken CEO Tod Leiweke, forward Austin Czarnik, and Driedger stopped by a backstage location to chat with Mike Benton, Everett Fitzhugh and Dave Tomlinson.
