Wide receiver Josh Gordon and safety Quandre Diggs will be in uniform and make their debuts for the Seattle Seahawks against the San Francisco 49ers on Monday night.
Diggs had been unavailable for his first two games in Seattle due to a hamstring injury he carried with him in the trade from the Detroit Lions last month. Gordon has been with the team a week after being claimed off waivers from the New England Patriots.
Gordon's debut will come at the expense of veteran wide receiver Jaron Brown, who is inactive for the first time this season. Seattle will go with Gordon, Tyler Lockett, DK Metcalf, David Moore and Malik Turner as their five receivers against the 49ers. John Ursua is also inactive at the position for Monday night's game.
Guard Phil Haynes (ankle) and safety Lano Hill (elbow) are the only two players out due to injury. In addition to Brown and Ursua, cornerback Akeem King, running back C.J. Prosise and defensive end L.J. Collier are healthy scratches for Seattle.
Meanwhile, the 49ers will be without star tight end George Kittle and kicker Robbie Gould because of injuries.
Kittle had knee and ankle injuries coming out of last week's game against the Arizona Cardinals. Gould injured the quadriceps muscle in his kicking leg and the 49ers signed Chase McLaughlin last week in anticipation of Gould being unable to kick against the Seahawks. The team also activated tight end Garrett Celek off the physically unable to perform list with Kittle set to miss Monday night's game.
Cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon is also out due to foot and quadriceps injuries for the 49ers. However, tackles Joe Staley and Mike McGlinchey, and fullback Kyle Juszczyk are all back in the lineup for San Francisco after missing multiple games due to injuries.
