Seattle Sounders FC 0-1 Nashville SC

Sounders FC looked to rebound after a tough rivalry loss on Saturday to Portland with a tricky away match at Nashville SC, a team just one point ahead of them in the western conference standings.

Early in the match Seattle would look comfortable as they were able to initially break the pressure from the home side multiple times getting a few opportunities, but as was the case against Portland, these chances would fail to be converted.

As the first half went on, the home side saw more and more of the ball and looked threatening in possession. After a casual giveaway from Nico Lodeiro, the speed of the counter attack from the home side was too much for Seattle to deal with as CJ Sapong found himself gliding past Nouhou with ease and putting in Hany Mukhtar for an easy finish to put the home side up 1-0 right before the half time whistle.

The Sounders would come out with more energy in the second half but it would not prove to be enough as Nashville was able to repel any real threat from Seattle in the second half. Will Bruin would have the chance of the game for the Sounders as Nouhou put in a great cross for the Sounders forward on the ground but his finish was put just wide.

And that would do it, a second straight defeat for Seattle in disappointing fashion, post match show and highlights below.
